Veteran Music producer Edward Nana Poku Osei has come to the defense of musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah Junior over his reaction on Utv towards entertainment pundit Arnold Asamoah Baidoo last night.
On the show, Shatta Came face to face with Arnold Asamoah Baidoo who have been a fierce critic of Shatta Wale in the entertainment industry.
In an earlier reaction of Arnold Asamoah Baidoo on Utv’s sister station which is Okay Fm in Accra, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo was reported to have said Shatta Wale is inconsistent and confused with his thought when he made some suggestions in his speech to the nation on industry matters about how Ghana must find a genre of music to stick to.
In his address which has remain topical, Shatta Wale spoke on a number of things which includes decentralization of shows in the country to go to other regions either than the always Accra trend.
Arnold Asamoah Baidoo never took that lightly, he stated that almost all the things Shatta Wale said were things being worked on already hence they are nothing new.
Fast forward it’s Saturday 12 June 2021 and Shatta Wale and Arnold Asamoah Baidoo came face to face in the studio of Utv on their entertainment show hosted by actress Nana Ama Mcbrown.
It was really hot in there in the studio of Utv, one which made Shatta Wale to question the wealth of Arnold Asamoah Baidoo and his contribution to the music industry aside his vile criticism.
From that night blames have gone to Shatta Wale for using certain words on Arnold Asamoah Baidoo with some other critics calling the “Gringo” hitmaker out for rubbing his success in the face of others.
Da’Hammer has since released a lengthy write up saying, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo is a great guy he has worked with on some entertainment boards. Notwithstanding, his level of criticism and his choice of words should also be considered.
Da Hammer said “Confused is a disrespectful words no matter how you spin it, and being a journalist certainly gives you no right to call someone confused”
The man who discovered and nurtured many talent in Ghana’s music industry goes ahead to say, what Shatta Wale has become in the face of the Ghana music industry are the doing of people like Arnold Asamoah Baidoo who see no good in what Shatta Wale has achieved with his talent.
