A report currently on our desk has revealed how the finance minister Kenneth Ofori Atta a d Yaw Osafo Maafo have both received bribes from pharmaceutical company owners.
Our Preliminary investigation which will be made public with full details in the coming days exposes the grand scheme Ken Ofori Atta is running as the finance minister at the expense of Ghanaians.
The reason for taking money from the soon-to-be-named Pharmaceutical company owner is to allow the Pharmaceutical company owner to evade taxes and infiltrate the books of customs and GRA so he does not pay the required taxes on his imported products.
In other words, they want to cede the valuation of goods which is the core mandate of customs throughout the world to a private company.
The amount of revenue to be lost by Ghana in these clandestine deals will be unimaginable.
