Through her legal representative, Dr. Anne Sansa Daly an American-based medical officer has formally demanded that Modern Ghana, a news blog focusing predominantly on Ghanaian news immediately retract a defamatory publication made against her.
The said publication contains false, mischievous, and damaging statements that have harmed Dr. Sally’s reputation, both personally and professionally.
In the lawyer’s letter, Modern Ghana has been expressly warned that failure to:
1. Issue an unconditional retraction
2. Offer a public apology and
3. Cease further defamatory statements
Which will result in immediate legal action Dr. Sansa reserves the right to pursue all available remedies in a court of law, including but not limited to monetary damages for defamation, injunctive relief, and legal costs.
