The Akufo Addo-led government is trying all means to buy all voices of conscience.
From the media to religious leaders and even traditional leaders have all been compromised after receiving cash from the government.
With the government increasingly becoming extremely unpopular, Akufo Addo and his shenanigans are going around like wounded lions to buy the few reasonable voices left n Ghana from critiquing their bad governance.
However, their next move which was to clandestinely trap the Togbe Afede XIV has backfired.
The Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State has reportedly refused to take some 365,000 cedis the government paid into his account as Ex-Gratia for serving as a member of the council of state.
The former President of the National House of Chiefs and the respectable business mogul refused to take the said cash.
The respectable Chief according to our source said it is wrong to take the money at a time Ghanaians are going through excruciating hardship.
This comes days after Sir John’s Will reveals how The Achimota forest amongst other states’ lands has been shared among government officials and their cronies.
The government through Kan Dapaah sponsored a candidate against Togbe Afede during the election of the National House of Chiefs because Togbe Afede and his Vice Nana Ewusi at the time spoke against the corrupt AGYAPA deal as a bad deal for Ghana.
He became an enemy to the Government and they sponsored another chief to dethrone him as the president of the House of Chief.
From what we know the NPP deliberately paid this money into the account of Togbe Afede to trap him. If he had not been patriotic and smart in rejecting it, the government would have deliberately leaked the documents shared below to its social media attack dogs and bought journalists to disgrace Togbe Afede for accepting money he didn’t work for into his account.
