Ghanaian actress and Television host Joselyn Duma has added her voice to the ongoing talks around e-levy saying Ghanaian pays a lot of taxes but with almost nothing to show.
She called for accountability on the monies paid in the past as she believes it’s the only way people will be willing to pay extra taxes like the e-levy.
The e-Levy has become very unpopular as Ghanaians have demonstrated they do not want it.
Joselyn Duma took to her twitter page to share her views asking what happened to the sanitation taxes among others Ghanaians pay
E-Levy 💔🇬🇭… smh

So where does the money go ?
Yet we owe.
Then #ELevy ? … in such obviously hard times ?
Rapper and Radio show host Trigmatic also suggested as Retweet from Jose Duma saying Ghanaians must be firm in asking for accountability
Well said sis. I think as a people we must be firm on accountability. Accountability on all levels. From the base to the top Chale! It’s a sad situation but I believe an awakening is needed to keep leaders on their toes and to reward diligence rather than mediocrity

Earlier this morning, there was a massive demonstration against Akufo Addo and his government over the draconian e-levy.
Thousands of Ghanaians walked the streets of Accra to present a petition to the speaker of Parliament urging him to help lead Parliament to kill the killer e-levy tax completely
