Yesterday’s Demonstration by Arise Ghana, an amalgamation of civil society groups and political parties including Ghanaians saw a massive attack on citizens by the Police Service.
Before the demonstration began, the chameleon IGP George Dampare in a video cautioned his men to be professional on the day.
However, that directive was thrown to the dogs when police officers unleashed terror on demonstrators.
Their reason was that the demonstrators had wanted to use an unapproved route.
This saw the Ghana Police service firing tears gas and even pelting Ghanaians who were demonstrating with stones.
