As the NDC prepares for its internal elections of the branch, constituency, regional and national elections, many are going to be targeted with fake news to discredit what they stand for and what they intend to do for the party to capture power in the 2024 critical elections.
One potential candidate to have suffered from a deliberate attempt to soil his image is Dr. Benjamin Kwame Danso who is vying to become the party’s chairman for the Krowor Constituency in the Greater Accra region.
A parody website known as amaghanaonline seems to have published a fake character assassination story targeted at Dr. Danso.
When the said person authored the story was confronted, he apologized and admitted he had no basis for the baseless write-up as he was hired to write the fake story which labeled Dr. Danso as a liar to make him look bad to delegates of the NDC at Krowor.
The story has since been pulled down from the parody website but the damage lingers on.
It’s in line with this that the record about Dr. Benjamin Danso needs to be set straight.
From our checks, Dr. Benjamin Kwame Danso has contributed immensely to making the NDC party attractive in Krowor.
He understands the dynamics of the constituency and will work in the interest of the party to retain the Krowor seat for the NDC regardless of whoever emerges as the winner in the Parliamentary primaries which would happen after the Election of party executives.
He is a trustworthy man who will help the fortunes of the NDC not just in Krowor but the Greater Accra region at large.
Any such fake news meant to destroy his chances of potentially emerging as the new chairman of the Krowor constituency should therefore be disregarded.
