The Deputy Executive Director of the National Services Secretariat, Gifty Oware-Aboagye took to Facebook to call former President John Dramani Mahama an idiot.
Gifty Oware-Aboagye was commenting on a video of John Mahama shared by Mr. Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko’s Facebook page.
In the said video, former President John Mahama has heard whiles addressing NDC supporters during his campaign tour saying both himself and President Akufo-Addo have a shorter time to live on earth as compare to the young people of Ghana if the natural order is to be maintained.
He comments was a lead up to an explanation that the huge debts that President Akufo-Addo is accruing will not affect him but rather the young people of Ghana who perhaps might live longer than they the elderly ones adding that they are going to pay those debts.
“Looking at Akufo-Addo’s age, his life on earth is shorter thank you all young people here….young people can die I agreed but if the natural order is to be maintained, somebody who is 20years old here is going to live maybe the next 50years. I at my age, I’m going to live shorter, Nana Akufo-Addo is going to live shorter….I’m making a point because that debt, he is not going to pay” – former President Mahama said
Whiles sharing the video, Gabby captioned “From ethnocentrism to ageism. Incredible! #2020IsAboutIssues”
The content of the video appears not to go down well with Gifty Oware hence commented
“I am sorry but it’s time we tell this guy he is acting like an ‘idiot’. We as a country are hypocrites. Are people seeing this?”
