Work will be on the Kasoa Bulk Supply Point (BSP) which is said to be nearing completion. It will require a re-construction of a section of Ghana Grid Company’s 161kV Winneba to Mallam transmission lines and tie-in.

This exercise will lead to a shortfall in transmission of power to Accra during the peak load hours,” ECG said in a release announcing the schedules on Thursday, May 20.

Lights will go out between 6:00pm and 12 midnight on scheduled days.

Areas to be affected have been put into three groups – A, B and C.

Among the areas in Group A are Cantonments, Kaneshie Market, Abelenkpe, Awudome, Labadi, Teshie, Ashaley Botwe, Osu, Tetegu and Gbawe Top Base.https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/ads?client=ca-pub-3177501661880531&output=html&h=312&adk=3982731270&adf=2256582864&pi=t.aa~a.2067693828~i.15~rp.4&w=375&lmt=1621520556&num_ads=1&rafmt=1&armr=3&sem=mc&pwprc=2902914568&psa=0&ad_type=text_image&format=375×312&url=https%3A%2F%2F3news.com%2Fecg-announces-16-day-loadshedding-in-accra-areas%2F%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR18TIoYO9MMNURwqYzid7xHyZhLDT4VK71_cKIGkNRTSuK7-ZDdyVVCjt4&flash=0&fwr=1&pra=3&rh=288&rw=345&rpe=1&resp_fmts=3&sfro=1&wgl=1&fa=27&dt=1621521168362&bpp=16&bdt=10777&idt=-M&shv=r20210517&cbv=%2Fr20190131&ptt=9&saldr=aa&abxe=1&cookie=ID%3D8974ab05b9e45ccc-22903aac1ac80083%3AT%3D1621521167%3ART%3D1621521167%3AS%3DALNI_MYFuxc7fBnuDBByT3s6zjO6jbxq6w&prev_fmts=0x0%2C375x312&nras=3&correlator=1715942713757&frm=20&pv=1&ga_vid=1098078743.1621521164&ga_sid=1621521168&ga_hid=21510977&ga_fc=0&u_tz=0&u_his=1&u_java=0&u_h=667&u_w=375&u_ah=667&u_aw=375&u_cd=32&u_nplug=0&u_nmime=0&adx=0&ady=1950&biw=375&bih=581&scr_x=0&scr_y=149&eid=21066433%2C31060615%2C31060956&oid=3&pvsid=1700678477994684&pem=923&ref=http%3A%2F%2Fm.facebook.com&eae=0&fc=1408&brdim=0%2C0%2C0%2C0%2C375%2C0%2C375%2C581%2C375%2C581&vis=1&rsz=%7C%7Cs%7C&abl=NS&fu=128&bc=31&ifi=3&uci=a!3&btvi=2&fsb=1&xpc=ctjP7judD8&p=https%3A//3news.com&dtd=96
