This is because the President who himself played an important role in enacting laws on public gathering in the coronavirus era has on many occasions disregarded the same law he expect citizens to abide by.

Reacting to pictures of the President in Upper Wast region being welcomed by students in their numbers, Efia Odo who herself is instrumental in “Fix The country” want to know how on earth same government stopping a demonstration on grounds of COVID-19 would allow student to be crowded just to welcome the President.

What is however disturbing is that this is not the first time President Akufo Addo has been reckless in disregarding Covid protocols.

He was at Sir John’s funeral with no regard for Covid protocol when Sir John himself died of Covid 19.

The deadly Indian variant of the Coronavirus has reportedly been found in Ghana with expert saying the fight against the deadly virus is far from being over.

This is what Efia Odo said exactly on Twitter

I guess the president is above the law. The hypocrisy stares us blatantly in our faces everyday. We can’t demonstrate but yet this can happen? #FixTheCountry pic.twitter.com/UrvlxdD9ck
