The Member of Parliament for Bortianor-Ngleshie-Amanfrom Sylvester Tetteh is claiming that the greatest achievement of President Akufo-Addo is the implementation of the free senior high school policy.

He said this in an interview with Kwabena Agyapong on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm.

”The young people of Ghana will be perpetually grateful to the memory of President Akufo-Addo in implementing free SHS,” He added.

He told the host some people are not seeing the benefits of the policy today, but the policy is one of the ways in bridging the poverty gap.

Education, he argued, is one surest way developing countries can use it in bridging the poverty gap, and the President in implementing the policy has taken that step.

Several parents in the past were faced with the challenge of educating their wards at the SHS level, but the policy has come in to solve that problem, he stressed.

He added Ghanaians should not expect the benefits today because it is a long-term benefit we must patiently wait to see them.
