The Chief Executive Officer of Loud Silence Media has launched a campaign aimed at forcing President Nana Akufo-Addo to accept former President John Mahama’s debate challenge.
Speaking to LoudSilinceRadio.com, the host of With All Due Respect said he is giving President Akufo-Addo “a week to respond to John Mahama debate challenge personally or else I campaign vigorously against him”
According to the fearless US-based Ghanaian journalist, President Akufo-Addo’s failure to debate the former President as they both head for the December 7, 2020 polls, will mean he [Akufo-Addo] “lacks the merit to lead the nation” for another four years.
Last week, Vice President Bawumia’s, claimed during a Town Hall Meeting that the Akufo-Addo led NPP government has constructed more infrastructure projects (17,000) in less than four years than the NDC had managed in eight years.

The Flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Former President John Dramani Mahama reacting to the Vice President’s claims challenged President Akufo-Addo to a debate on the records of their respective governments in the area of infrastructure saying those claims by the Vice President cannot be true.
President Akufo-Addo has not publicly stated his position on the call by the former President, but his party officials including Deputy Information Minister, Pius Hadzide rubbished the call for the debate saying it is unnecessary.
But the strong critic of the Akufo-Addo led NPP government, Mr. Kevin Taloy insists the debate is necessary for both candidates to prove to Ghanaians they indeed have what it takes to lead the nation from 2021.
For Mr. Taylor, “Until Akuffo Addo responds to John Mahama’s challenge, he has no moral rights to even ask Ghanaians for their vote” adding that “he will be a coward and does not deserve to be voted for if he can’t boldly step up out and defend his track record”
