Host of With All Due Respect Kevin Taylor has said he is utterly disappointed in the leadership of Akufo Addo and as such not all grey hair signifies wisdom.
In the Ghanaian cultural setting, old age or in other words grey hair are symbols of people’s experience in life as they age but Kevin Taylor believes President Akufo Addo and his appointees are making rubbish of that widely assertion by their conduct.
In what led him to saying that, the Presidential Adviser on Health, Dr. Anthony Nsiah Asare earlier said even after breaking Covid 19 protocols at the burial of Sir John who himself died of Covid, not even a single person has contracted Covid from that event which was widely critiqued by Ghanaians.
President Akufo Addo, Dr. Bawumia his vice and Chief Justice Justice Anin Kwasi Yeboah were all present at the funeral with absolute no regard for same Covid laws they enacted.
Kevin said the utterance of Dr Nsiah Asare is an insult to Ghanaians and every single individual who have lost a relative to Covid.
The attempt of the government to whitewash their recklessness is targeted at blaming the opposition National Democratic Congress for the rise in Coronavirus cases on grounds of their demonstration they held recently.
“When you listen to these guys in power, you begin to understand not all grey hair represent Wisdom.
When we speak this way people call and say Kevin your words are too strong, how best do we address these people who themselves have no respect for anybody.
These guy have had his two shots of the Covid vaccine, he thinks he’s safe because as we speak about 80 or 90% of Ghanaians are yet to be vaccinated.
You organized a super spreader funeral and turn around to say nobody have contracted Covid through that ?
That’s pure foolishness, did they write down names of the thousands of persons who came to the funeral and the millions of people they have come in contact with since the funeral?”- he said
