We may not always agree on issues but then one aspect of this lady here; Nana Aba Anamoah you cannot take away from her is standing firmly with whatever she believes in.
Following her evolution from Tv3 and how she was infamously thrown under the bus, Nana Aba Anamoah has demonstrated that if it becomes necessary, she never shies away from speaking the truth.
I have had to critique her several times when I felt she was never adding her voice to the many legitimate cry to get our country on the right track.
My Criticism, I believe was never personal. It was purely on what I know and believe she could have done that she failed to do as a leading Journalist in Ghana.
But in the last few weeks after my Baptism of Fire, Nana Aba Anamoah has proven that she is indeed resilient by asking those in authority critical questions and demanding reasonable answers.
The beauty in what I do as a journalist is to say good stuff about people when they deserve and earns it and equally critique them when they are wrong or becoming sycophants.
I have personally been critiqued by folks who also feel I am not doing enough to bring the desired change we are all clamoring for in Ghana.
The criticism whichever way it comes is not personal, it’s about making sure Ghana wins in the end from the hands of the tyrants Akufo Addo.
The NPP plans to silence all critical voices like myself and all other people who do not dance to their tune.
They have succeeded in doing that by buying supposed Journalists who should be gatekeepers. However, since the issue of Late Sir John’s Will broke out, Nana Aba Anamoah through her various social media handle has demonstrated that she still got it when it comes to going hard on the government of the day and their paid social media buffoons like she was known for in the past.
Nana Aba Anamoah has imparted lives that you cannot take away from her.
I once chanced on a story of how a street hawker she met in traffic has been employed by her to work as a broadcaster with one of the Media houses she manages.
These amongst other kinds of gestures of her are commendable and I highly endorse such gestures from her.
The fight to take Ghana from these looters never promises to be an easy one and we need people like Nana Aba Anamoah and other fair-minded people who weld influence and have gone through the mill to continue keeping this extremely corrupt government and other governments to come accountable to the Ghanaian people.
Just as I critique her when I felt she was dilly-dallying around the critical issues at the time, I am on this note throwing my full support to her in this period as she has equally come under attack from the Government and its Communicators for adding her voice to the glaring loot Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie aka Sir John did before his demise.
From what is out in the public domain, one does not have to be a prosecutor to conclude that the late Sir John was such a pathetic thief whose interest in joining politics was to steal state lands and make questionable wealth within a short period in office through corrupt means.
The will of the former General Secretary of the NPP who was also the CEO of the Forestry Commission should indeed be a concern to every reasonable Ghanaian irrespective of which Political party, religion, or ethnicity you belong to.
It’s about people using political office to deny future generations of Ghana what is due to them by looting them in broad daylight.
If we do not rise as one voice to speak against these disturbing developments, the consequences could be dangerous shortly.
How on earth, can Sir John judging from how vociferous he was about the previous administration about issues of corruption acquire all these properties listed in his Will just between the periods of 2017 to 2020?
And then, when folks like myself and Nana Aba Anamoah speak about it, they are targeted by releasing party idiots to attack her?
I am on this note throwing my unflinching support to Nana Aba Anamoah as she comes under attack from government-paid trolls and lunatics.
Hopefully, she remains focused and continues speaking the truth to power.
We may indeed disagree on so many grounds but adding your voice to the glaring stealing of state lands and resources just as the story of Sir John depict in the last couple of days shows you are still honest regardless.
Hugs to you wherever you find yourself Nana Aba Anamoah.
You will have to remain resilient and should not change your tone now as to how you are holding the government accountable through your mediums when it comes to criticizing governemnts constructively in the future when there is change of power.
