Actor turned Politician John Dumelo has made some donation of hospital equipment to a polyclinic in Likpe in the Oti Region.
Likpe remains one of the contested areas as they were carved out of the Volta Region.
The area forms part of other areas like Santrokofi and Akpafu which were denied their right to vote in the 2020 elections.
John Dumelo contested on the ticket of the Ndc in the 2020 elections in the Ayawaso Constituency.
He took to social media to announce the donation.
This gesture some political analysts have said forms part of move for him to ditch Ayawaso to contest for elections in the Oti region on 2024.
I donated hospital equipments and consumables to the Likpe Bakua Polyclinic. Items included Suction machines,2 Nebulizers,oximeters, stethoscopes,liquid soap,sanitizers etc. Healthcare must be accessible and closer to all especially citizens in the Guan district.
