Free Shs has been an integral campaign message in Ghana’s politics since 2008.
With the current President Nana Addo maintaining, it was doable and should be done now.
Nana Addo ultimately won in 2016 and the program kicked started in 2017.
However, the Free Shs policy has never been without concerns of spaces and infrastructure.
While the outgone NDC Government maintains the incumbent has neglected ongoing E-blocks to ease pressure on existing schools, the government has maintained they are doing enough.
People are however calling for review of the policy same thing John Mahama said but was vilified with President Akufo Addo going round that Mahama would cancel the program if he wins the 2020 elections.
With double track keeping students at home for over 6 months the quality of education has been questioned.
