Bishop TD Jakes, greetings to your good self.
This piece of directed at you after watching a snippet of your commentary about Ghana and its current President, Nana Akufo Addo.

Respectfully Sir, After 64 years of living and many years of devoting yourself to being a servant of God, I’m pretty sure you might have come across series of everyday people and leaders.

America, the land of your birth is not a perfect country, but it’s one country which respect human values and lives as such, any person who has no respect for these cardinal values shouldn’t be a person whose your words should validate.
Bishop, For you to have watched on to be used as a vessel in an attempt to cleanse the damaged reputation of President Akufo Addo; President of Ghana will not only hurt what you have stood for over the years, but it will make history not to judge you kindly. It is the reason behind the heading of this open letter which says “ In Being Forced to Praise the “Devil”, be careful of your own legacies”.

Of course you do not live in Ghana and perhaps have a lot more things to do hence you do not keep track of what happens in the West African Country.

I however do not expect you to have issues happing in Ghana at your finger tips but a quick search on the internet about who Akufo Addo is would have saved you this embarrassment of praising a democratic tyrant.

Watching your video, one gets the impression that that was a bought public relation gimmicks from a government which has come under fire for none performance, abuse of office and suppression of the vulnerable.

You have lived through administration in America and you know what Good governance is, you have traveled around the world and have experienced which leaders qualifies to be tagged great. You should never have allowed yourself to be a vessel of passing false judgment.

What you did as Preacher is despicable and if indeed you were given a token for these praises may the very Almighty God you believe in, serve you with harsh judgement even before you leave this earth.

The very man whose script you were given to read supervised the killing of 8 unarmed civilians to mark his re election in Ghana.

The painful part is some of the very people who lost their lives in the quest of President Akufo Addo making sure he stays in power against the general wish of the Ghanaian people were even Minors not qualified to vote.

They were never voters but were gunned down in cold blood by government security forces under the command of President Akufo Addo.

One cannot tell whom you were trying to please with these praises, but it was clear your focus was on President of Ghana attending your program which perhaps will help you create more wealth in addition to what you have created than speaking truth to the happenings in Ghana.

Nobody would have cared if you didn’t go to the angle of praising Akufo Addo, it’s fine if he makes your cut to speak at an event you are obviously organising but never use that in thinking Ghanaians are stupid folks who can’t see and feel what they go through in their country.
Bishop, Never assume the many people in your auditorium are robots who would just take anything you throw at them Hook line and sinker.

Granted, You are human being and can make mistakes but not until you issue an apology to the Ghanaian fort printing a picture which does not exist in their country, you will of course account for beating false witness in judgment day.

Preachers like your good self should be concerned about winning souls for Jesus Christ than turning your pulpit into a political propaganda machinery.

Whoever wrote those words for you to read misled you, it has put you in a position for being dishonest and above all, it raises doubt about your integrity as a Man of God, as a man who lives in a country with respect for human rights.

At 64, you of course have a few years to live going by the Natural order of things, that should even make it more easier for you in speaking truth than being a vessel of lies because in your age and at your stage, you have lived life and has absolutely nothing to lose if you turn down some of these paid for Political propaganda.

You should bro concerned about what the Future  will say about you when you name is mentioned attached to Ghana than the immediate gains if any.

Did you use your platform to speak truth of the actual development and progress of Ghana under Akufo Addo the speaker of your summit or you used it to peddled lies?

Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo whom you are being paid to whitewash with all due respect is like the proverbial “Pig”. No matter how much effort you put in making its look clean, that Can not be sustained because dirt is what entice him..

He has supervised the worst period in the history of Ghana as Ghana’s economy has crashed under his watch.

Corruption and thievery is at record high with his direct family folks enjoying stolen Money from the people of Ghana, youth unemployment is out of the roof above all, 8 souls were killed like a Chicken but they very Army you mentioned him as the Commander-in-Chief of during the 2020 highly disputed Ghanaian elections.

His actions and inactions of which you want to praise is denying many children  the right environment to grow and thrive.

Is this a man worthy enough to be showered with praises ?

If you have conscience as a man of God, I will leave it here and allow your own conscience to be your judge Bishop.
