For those who missed last Friday’s episode of With All Due Respect Extended Version, many would ask why should the silence of Ghanaian Celebrities on Ghanaian issues be a big deal ?

I will try to break it down in this text even thought it’s going to be quite lengthy.

You see, these guys you call celebrities are also Ghanaians aside the fame and numbers or influence they have, they have friends and families who are Ghanaians and they rely largely on the average Ghanaian to become whatever they envisage of becoming.

So whatever happens in Ghana should be their concerns as well.

Without a doubt, Ghana’s Political space is largely divided between Ndc and Npp.

When issues of national interest pops up, these two parties discuss it from the angle that best suit their agenda, hence Ghanaians cannot fully trust them to represent the hustler on the streets at all time.

If not, Akufo Addo will not promise to be incorruptible and turn around to be Ghana’s nepotistic leader in history.

The focus then moves to traditional and religious leaders.

Ideally, they should be the next group of persons to hold these Politicians accountable on behalf of the average Ghanaian but have they been able to do that all these years?

If nothing worries you, at least Otumfuo’s admission that a certain Abu Jinapo and co brought him an already prepared scripts for him to read to cast the government’ fight against Galamsey in good light should draw your attention of how the traditional and religious leaders have all become mouthpiece of Political parties.

Otumfuo’s influence in Ghana cannot be underrated.

If Abu Jinapo can write a speech for Otumfuo to read that should tell you other sub chiefs are all remote controlled by these gangsters in power.

Whoever is candid will admit that, in the whole of the 4th republic when various President go round the country on tour, party leader writes scripts for local chiefs full of praises on the government to read to create the impression that the President or government in power is performing.

These “bought” chiefs and religious leaders instead of telling the Politicians the actual problems confronting their villages or towns will rather praise the Politicians because the very speech they read are just direct writings by these corrupt Politicians like what Otumfuo said Abu Jinapo wanted him to do.

Our communities in Ghana are hugely divided on Political lines.

If Akufo Addo visit The Northern Region today, there are some chiefs he will not visit because those chiefs are perceived to be NDC, while should John Mahama visit the Eastern region today, there are some Chief he will not visit because they are perceived to be Pro NPP.

Same with religious leaders, Imams, pastors, and other religious leaders are all compromised and speaks for their stomach and interest than the people they represent.

They have collectively failed over the years to outline the true state of the living standards of their people when Politicians visits their communities.

The big question then is, who becomes the true mouthpiece of the suffering masses ?

The media, well these media houses are owned by Politicians and they recruit people who can sing praises to them and not offer them any criticism.

Media houses are equally divided on Political lines.

When Akufo Addo took over, to have the space to commit the crimes he is committing, his first move to to stifle Pro Ndc media groups by shutting the influential ones down and putting fear in those who may ever want to critique his tyranny.

We are all witness to the gruesome murder of Ahmed Suale, the exile of Manasseh Azure even though he is a hypocrite and the suspension of Captain Smart who himself is a sycophant.

Look at this critically, Kweku Oteng who is a known NPP financier owns Angel Fm where Captain Smart works at.

Kweku Oteng’s Daughter is an MP on the ticket of NPP.

Kweku Oteng benefits from the Npp Government directly.

Do you think Kweku Oteng will use his media houses to hold accountable a government his daughter is a member of to expose their thievery ?

Mind you, I did a Scandal on the daughter of Kweku Oteng about how she used her position to inflate cost of Adonko Hand sanitizer manufactured by Kweku Oteng, I hope that rings a bell?

This scenario cut across all the major media houses in Ghana.

Samuel Atta Mensah owns Citi Fm, his best friend is Gabby Otchere Darko. When I did the PDS scandal which involves Gabby, Sammens was Gabby’s witness against me in Court.

In fact Sammens as he is called was a former appointee of Akufo Addo as the CEO of the Southern Belt Development Authority till he resigned for whatever reason best known to him.

Do you sincerely believe, Sammens will allow Citi Fm to be critical of Akufo Addo’s government, a regime his best friends plays an important role in which he was a member?

Peace Fm, Joy, Adom are all annex of the Npp without a doubt and they will do the bidding of the Npp no matter what the end result is.

Power fm, Ahortor, etc are also the mouthpiece of the Ndc and would never hold any Ndc President in the future accountable.

Now, the only group of people left to speak for the Ghanaian are the celebrities.

Even thought most of them(celebrities) are equally bought to be poodle for these Politicians, at least once their earnings directly comes from Ghanaians both Npp and Ndc, they should be able to hold whichever Government in power accountable to bring relief to their fans and followers.

So you see, when I expose the double standards of these celebrities, it is because I want to remind the Ghanaian of the danger ahead.

The Ndc and Npp have succeeded in infiltrating the traditional and religious leaders in Ghana. Pastors now pick which party to stay loyal to and which one to criticize and they have succeeded in converting their sermons to political talk shows.

I read some Methodist bishop saying, there is no corruption in Akufo Addo’s government, that should tell you how messed up Ghana is currently.

Pastor Otabil, Professor Martey and co have all gone mute because their kinsmen are in power so you can’t trust these traditional and religious leaders to even hold these Politicians accountable.

The media which should serve as the next point of call as explained above is also in the pocket of these Corrupt Political parties which many are owned by them.

The so called civil society organization are just annex of political parties.

The only group left for the Ghanaian is the celebrities and if you guys fail to push these celebrities to hold the government accountable, there will be no group left to pressure the government for you.

If we had celebrities demonstrating about Dumsor in the past, we should have celebrities who will be willing to do same now not because of Politics but because the effect of bad leadership goes directly to their fan base.

Failure to do so will mean they have also become Political insect, playing games with your mind.

When Nigerians demonstrators took to the streets for their END SARS demonstration, these Ghana celebrities supported them via social media platforms.

The question is why can’t they do same to better their own country by pressuring the government on the increasing level of insecurity, borrowing, corruption, Galamsey, Dumsor, Contract Killing, Kidnapping, rape among others ?

If your favorite Celebrity has also become a poodle for Politicians, then #UnfollowthemNow
